my daughter is 12 months old and loves playing the xylophone everyday! the sound is so much softer and nicer than the metal xylophones. this purchase was a winner!

I got this for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas last year, who insisted that she wanted a xylophone from Santa. She loved it! She loves the bright colors and the good solid sound it makes. A year later, she is still happily playing with it. The only thing is that the wooden keys are pretty dented now, but after being beaten up by a 3 year old, I really can't complain.

An old school toy that is lots of fun. Good size, great sound, neat colors. Easy for even young children to make their own music. Only complaint is you need to check the screws holding the keys on the base periodically (they can come loose)

My granddaughter really likes this toy, and my daughter was really happy to see it, too. She remembers playing with one like it when she was a girl, and wanted one for her daughter. She hadn't been able to find one, so I was happy to find it at Amazon. It's very good quality and even has more than an octave's worth of keys.

This was definitely not worth the investment. First, the notes are out of tune, and badly. One key fell of completely the first day, and the sticks broke on the 2nd.
