Plan Toy Doll House Nursery

3 years & up. Designed for a new baby, this nursery set includes a three-drawer chest, a crib with a mobile attached, a high chair, a stroller, and a baby.

My two and a half year old grandchild loves this doll house nursery. We refurbished a doll house made for my daughter by her grandfather. The original furniture was too delicate for a 2 1/2 year old. She loves to play family and the Plan Toy Doll House Nursery features sturdy age-appropriate furniture. She is fascinated with the mobile over the crib. I was concerned that it would be too delicate, but has proven to be able to withstand being pulled out and replaced many times. Her baby gets changed on the dresser's changing table and goes for walks in the stroller. The high chair is a great addition, although it has been moved to the kitchen.


Our 2 year old loves this nursery set! It is her favorite part of her dollhouse. She loves to put the baby in each of these pieces.



I've decided I like Plan products better than any other for my granddaughter's dollhouse. They are clearly made for sweetness and appeal to the younger child. She adored the changing table, the little stroller and especially, the crib mobile that looked like hers. And the high chair is a big hit. Out of all that's available out there, this is the most precious. Plan really knows what they're doing. And the tiny baby is too cute.


*UPDATE 3/23/09* - High chair fell apart and had to clamp and glue it together. This piece wasn't subjected to that much trauma. If I could I would deduct (1) star from the overall rating and (2) stars for durability.


Most folks buy products made by Plan Toys because they are 1) environmentally friendly (replenishable wood and vegetable dye paint) and 2) well crafted and durable. This nursery set meets all expectations and is a nice addition to the doll house (we have the Plan Toys Victorian). Yes there are sets out there with exquisite detailing but I like it clean and simple.

This set is cute and one of our daughter's favorites. The crib has a small, detachable mobile and the changing table mimics reality.

I was not too surprised to see this very nursery set (as well as other Plan Toys rooms) at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in an architectural play area suffering constant abuse by a never-ending queue of hyper kids. All the pieces were intact save the mobile.


Plan Toy Doll House Nursery
I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter while she was visiting, she enjoyed playing with it on it's own, now she can take it home and add it to her doll house. The baby fits in the crib, highchair and stroller, and stays there, unlike some of the "adult figures", that don't sit on the chairs. My only dislike was the dresser, with the flip top for a change table, the top doesn't flip flat or close flat. I would buy it again.

I especially like how many features are crammed into this small set: sink, tub, toilet, mirror, and removable shower nozzle (which my daughter likes since it mimics our own).

This is a nice quality product - sturdy enough for even the little ones, but great for fantasy play. The detail is wonderful on the Plan dollhouse furniture rooms.


This certainly came in handy while potty training. I could show my daughter how her dolls did it. Then, she could recreate it and play bath, shower or with the sink.


This is a wonderful set that can foster imaginative play at most ages. It is durable enough to withstand a rough 1.5 yr old tossing it about when his 4 yr old sister isn't looking.

These products have spurred many many hours of creative play and I can attest to the durability -- my youngest has "stolen" the lamp countless times only to be discovered when I step on it (still in one piece).

love the wooden toys, tired of plastic that does not feel right. i am a child psychologist and these toys work really well for young children.


I bought the living room set to accessorize the Plan Toys doll house her parents got her for Christmas. The set was a big hit with my 2 yr old niece. The pieces are sturdy, made of solid wood. I love how the Plan Toys dolls and accessories are classically designed - these will never go out of style. The only small glitch to note is that the sofa and chair cushions don't really stay in place very well - I don't think they'll last long before they're lost. Overall, a great buy.

plan City Highway Maintenance Set comes with a crane, dump truck and cement mixer. The crane really works, so imagine your little one lifting a log off a road, or pouring cement for a new parking lot and then the roller has to flatten it out. These vehicles are a bright orange and would work great with any of the Road and Rail sets.

We received this toy in a timely manner from the seller. Great additions to the Plan City set! My 3 yr old son got them for Christmas and loves them!


I discovered Plan City Wooden toys rather by accident, but they are "the best." The quality and detail is amazing--and appear to be toys that will withstand lots of use.


My parents got him this but the dump truck broke when he dropped it off the table and onto the wood floor. Very surprised as if you have read my other reviews the toys are extremely well made. I havent called the company but the other two trucks are still fine so not certain why that happened. Gorilla glued it and then we lost it in the airport......oh well. Set has moveable parts though and lot of fun!


These little construction vehicles are excellent. My three year old granddaughter loves to play with them in the house and in the sand box. They do have small wheels that could possible come off, but they are so sturdily made that I doubt that would happen. Their small size fits perfectly into tiny hands.

my 29mth old loves this toy. He uses it to carry all his "broken down" cars and trucks. I like that the trailer is open sided, helps toddlers learn control when plling his truck around. Works will with his other Plan City toys. Small enough to take to restaurants, doctor's offices, and any other place where you need a few small toys. The first "E-Zero" company, Plan Toys makes their toys out of recycled rubberwood, and vegi dyes. I love a company that is both child and eco-friendly.


I had purchased this and the taxi/police car set for my nephew for Christmas thinking, from the pictures, that this was much larger! I was extremely disappointed, so much so that I did not give it to my nephew. Unfortunately, with the shipping costs, it's not worth returning either, so I'm just stuck. Nice.


I bought this to go with the parking garage. He absolutely loves the garage. There are two frustrating issues with this car transporter.
#1 - it comes unhitches very easily
#2 - the back gate does not stay up

Between those two frustrations, my son is very un-nerved by the toy. However, it's really cute how the cars fit on it and he seems to really like the concept. I thought ours was defective, but it seems others have the same issue with the back gate. I would expect for $13+ dollars for the details to be worked out. I am going to return it.


It is a nice addition to my 2 year old's wooden car selection.
I like how open ended and sturdy they are. He is two and gets really frustrated that the truck and bed comes off so easily. They are connected by one little parts and come apart very easily when the child is not careful. I think older he gets, the easier it would be to play with this particular truck.


When we got this, I was suprised by how small it was. It is part of the Plan City, so I guess it's proportional. Having said that, my son (2 1/2) loved it. He wanted to sleep with it every night. He did get a little frusterated because the back gate doesn't stay up. Also, he took all of the little black wheels off. That could be a choking hazard for little ones.

This is a good quality product. It is attractive to a wide variety of ages. The oven and cabinets open. It comes with a little toaster and a teapot. The fridge opens up to reveal door shelves and 2 bottles of milk. I am glad that I chose this kitchen for my grandaughter over the Ryans Room kitchen, which looked much more "bland."


This sweet kitchen ensemble even comes with a tiny tea pot, wee toaster and teeny milk bottles in the fridge.

This is a wonderful set that can foster imaginative play at most ages. It is durable enough to withstand a rough 1.5 yr old tossing it about when his 4 yr old sister isn't looking.
