I purchased this toy for my then 6 m/o granddaughter; she is now 7 1/2 months and loves this toy. She can pull the levers and spin the wheel to produce music. We aren't using the legs now (probably won't for a while) and she is pulling herself up on this while it sits on the floor. I'd highly recommend this for crawlers...

At the age of 6 month, she only knew how to bang and drool all over the toy. The noise and light is a great distraction. It is a good source of entertainment (Not educational yet) and can keep her entertain for 15-30 minute at a time. This toy replace my activity mat as she now knows how to sit and move out of that circle.

Near 7 month, she started to do the same repetitive thing like lowering down the guitar or the violin. It shows that certain button perform certain sound or perhaps it is just fun and mesmerizing to see the violin turn into spinning tops.

The sound quality are pretty good. It is much better than some graco swing I have when she was a baby. The noise is good and distracting, but not annoying. Every button or item perform certain sound or certain educational learning experience. My baby is too young to be picking up this yet. For those spanish speaking parent, there is a button that turn this whole toy into Spanish speaking.





My critique: The gap between lever and the toy could be a bit narrower. The gap are about 1/5-1/4 in. Her finger is much bigger than those gap, but if she has long finger nail, it could potentially hurt her. The legging that hold the toy is not perfectly round. It is hollow toward the inside. Potential problem I see is that if the baby manage to crawl inside and try to get out, they will start banging those side and potentially cause injury.... especially if she/he start pushing that toy and it collapse on their face.

I heard someone say it can be a stepping stool for infant to climb out the crib and this is very true. Also, the toy has a hard surface. There have been time that she manage to sit and then fell on top of it (without the leg).



After all the critique above, it still a great toy. Baby of that age need to be supervise at all time. Best thing is know what the toy can do (in term of potential accident) and what the infant can do. My critique is just what I thought out and there might be plenty more out there.



One key information, I got this toy for $24 during Xmas time.

Purchased this joystick so a second player can participate in the VTECH Flash games. There is nothing wrong with the joystick, it works fine. It is easy to use and we love the versatility of it because it is made to accomodate left and right handed people. Which is why we gave it a 5 star review. HOWEVER, when using this joystick as a second player, it was not as we expected. We were hoping the two players could play simultaneously and interact with each other's characters while playing games. That isn't the case. Only one person plays at a time. So, interest is easily lost when waiting for a player to complete the game. This is no fault of the joystick. However, my kids (ages 6 and 4) won't use this joystick as a second player because either way, they are waiting to take a turn and as I stated eariler, ineterest is lost. So, if you are considering this as a buy for the second player option, it may not be worth your money.

I purchased two x-wing fighters one each for my 10 yr. old and 8 yr. old grandsons. Both were thrilled. I watched the 8-yr old put it together (glad it was him putting it together and NOT me). He was almost finished when he said there was a part missing. What he needed were mirror image pieces and what he had was two of the same. He was rather upset but then said he could go on without it and probably would have a piece he could substitute at home. For what these Legos cost all the correct pieces should be included!

This is a refreshing new edition. The properties are more meaningful, and the currency is updated. The rules remain the same, however, it looks and feels more relevant.

Having played the original Monopoly when I was a child it takes awhile to learn the new names on the spaces. The money is interesting too...just add zeros to the old game money. This was a Christmas present for my almost 3 year old daughter. She loves Dora and she loves ponies and I loved Amazon's sale. So the toy is good overall with a couple of flaws. The tailgate to the truck comes off a lot and the sides to the stable also come apart. This is easily fixed by snapping them back on but I'm afraid after too many times they will break for good. The other flaw would be no Dora doll to drive. We had purchased a Dora & Pony set to go with this toy so it didn't matter to us, but if we hadn't we would have been in trouble. I almost gave this toy 3 stars because of the issues, but the fact that my daughter likes it alot and plays with it alot got it 4 stars. One funny note - We got this toy in the French speaking version on accident (amazon quickly fixed the mistake) I try to explain it to my daughter and she tells me that it's not French it's Hola.

This toy is pretty fun but for older kids. I liked the product, BUT the only thing I didn't like that the backpack is not as easy to open as the Dora the Explorer Backpack. There is like a latch you need to push open and it is not easy for a toddler to open it. Overall I liked the product!

Yes this is the only thing my child asked for for Christmas 2 years ago. So I was happy to see that it was fun and cheap. My daughter played with this thing forever and her younger brother also plays with it. They've really never gotten tired of it. They go in spurts but they really still play with it (or rather the back pack itself they do). It dosen't play music anymore, I guess I should see if even takes a battery. Some of the smaller pieces are long gone..as they probably got thrown away because they were small and got stepped on..but the larger pieces and back pack are still in great shape. I can't believe this thing is 2 years old!

If your kids are fans they'll love it :)

This toy lasted great for the first few months. My son loved it, and the sounds it made.



However, it started to go downhill from there. When you hit the button to play a sound, it would only play a little bit of music, then stop. I immediately thought it was the batteries, but even after replacing with many new sets of LR44 batteries, it still exhibited the same behavior.



I'm thinking it might be a loose soldering joint on the inside, but I haven't opened it up to check the connections.
