A year later, she is still happily playing with it. The only thing is that the wooden keys are pretty dented now, but after being beaten up by a 3 year old, I really can't complain.

I bought the Calico Critter Baby Play Park and the Calico Critters Windmill for my girls for Christmas. They perfer the Play Park over the Windmill (and the Play Park is cheaper.) The two sets "connect" so that the critters can ride a hot air balloon between the Windmill and Play Park. This feature doesn't work very well and kept collapsing. If I had to choose between the two sets I would buy the Play Park not the Windmill.

The Play Park is really cute and has a slide, hot air balloon ride, and rocking basket for babies. My girls really loved the flowered tiara one of the baby twins came with, but there was only one (which led to fights). Not fun.

My 3 year old daughter really enjoys this toy. She likes the baby animals and ability to put them in the balloon or slide them down the slide. Super cute. You do have to be careful to keep up with all the pieces as the apples are tiny and easily lost, but overall its a great toy.

My five year old loves setting up and playing with her Calico Critters Playground. She especially loves the apples and the balloon that attaches to any other building. She has attached it to her playhouse which is not Calico Critters. The apples are very small so be careful with young children. This is a creative toy for girls between 4 and 1/2 and 6 and 1/2.

I bought these same Uncle Goose blocks when pregnant with my oldest son over 10 years ago. I just had my 4th child and the blocks are still around! Currently my 4 year old enjoys them the most. They are a classic toy worth keeping. Surprisingly, just as much as playing with them, they all have enjoyed the challenge of putting the blocks back into the crate to make them all fit perfectly.

We recently ordered this set for our 8-month old son, who had shown interest in other wooden blocks when he had a chance to play with them. These are slightly bigger than I expected them to be, but he has no trouble picking them up, even in his relatively small hands. In fact, they present just enough of a challenge to make it interesting, and he loves picking them up, putting them in his mouth, banging them, and on and on. It's wonderful that such a simple toy provides so much joy.



The blocks are very well made--not cheap feeling at all. They were more than I wanted to spend, but because of their size and quality of build, I think they are actually a really good value. (We only take out about 8 at a time to play with at this point.) They seem like they will last a long time and continue to be fun to play with for many more months, at least, for my son. I look forward to purchasing more products from Lindenwood, as I am very satisfied with the worksmanship and value for these.

I bought this toy for my daughter when she was [...] old, she is [...] now. At first, it was very stressful for her, though she still loved it. She knew the pony was going to come out and would get very tense until it did. I felt bad and would try to put it away, but she'd scream for it. As she likes very few toys, we just continued to play with it. Now she understands that the pony pops out and just likes to watch me do it. The box is very pretty, the pony is a nice quality "stuffed animal", and the music is "Home on the Range".

I bought this toy for my 14th month old for Christmas. He's just figuring out how to continuously turn the handle to get the pony to pop up. He likes it for a bit when someone else winds it for him. It is not currently his favorite, but it does bring a smile to his face. For educational value I would say yes, for dexterity. It is also an exercise in patience for my immediate gratification child. It remains to be seen whether he will play with this toy a lot eventually. I think that it's a cute toy but would be much more fun for a two year old.

I did a long research before I decided to get this specific table. My decision was made based on all the reviews I read on Amazon.com. It is very easy putting the table together as there are only few large pieces that click into each other. My dissapointment is related to overall finish of the table and its weight. Not being made from real wood makes it quite heavy. Also the edges are not finished quite well and the top piece was demaged in a few places but I opted out from replacing it since it is a large piece that I would need to sheep back and then wait for another one. Overall I think of it as a good purchase for the price paid and my son loves playing with the train set I got for him that sits on the top of this table.

We bought this train table for our 18 month old and, after about a year, it was very "loose" and the bolts had to be tightened. Another year goes by and the screws are falling out. I had to go find some bigger screws to put in.



It's not all bad - it's a great table for a kid who is 2yo who only needs it for 2-3 years. Just don't buy this thinking that it will last for this child and the next. If you want a table that will last for 2+ kids, buy the Learning Curve Thomas the Train table. Yes, it is more expensive in the short term but it won't need to be replaced.

We ordered this from Walmart for our 3-year-old train enthusiast, and it arrived in a very distressed box, as seems to be common for these tables. The manufacturer simply does not package them properly to ensure the product arrives without damage. Needless to say, ours arrived with a dozen dings, scrapes and chunks gouged out of the wood. I was willing to overlook this seeing as the table is attractive and a great price considering the competition. Installation was simple, but I quickly realized how flimsy this table really is. The entire thing is pressed wood and is held together by very short screws. After owning it for a week, we decided to move it from the living room to our son's bedroom and after removing the top and going to lift it to move it down the hall, the end snapped right off under very little pressure. We promptly returned it and I will never buy another Kidkraft product again. Very cheaply made and not durable in the least. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Well, I bought this for myself (an adult) and I love it. I just love stuffed animals and this one is so soft and cute that it instantly becomes my second favorite. (my favorite is a big white bear from a few years ago) I am sure little kids would love it too! BTW, you can totally throw it into the washer and then dryer and it came out just fine. It's eyes are stitched rather than some plastic thing that might fall off.

Buyer beware; these letter are the larger heavier magnet letters for the original blue Word Whammer with the red handle on top, and the original Fridge Phonics that is a blue and green square. The newer, smaller white jet ("Leapfrog Fridge Words Magnetic Word Builder") that also spells 3 letter words, and the new "LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set" that looks like a yellow star and a blue cloud use smaller, lighter weight letters.



The Leap Frog Fridge Phonics are awesome learning tools and lots of fun. My son just turned three, and knows his alphabet, upper and lower case, by name and all the different sounds each letter makes, and spells 3 letter words and knows how to spell many longer words as well. I can't recommend them enough. He also has the ClickStart computer, the Word Launch 4 letter word builder (with non-magnetic letters), the Turbo-Twist Addition, subtraction, and Phonics, the Little Touch Leap Pad, My First Leap Pad, Leap Pad, and Quantum Pad, Tag, and the 5 Leap Frog DVDs, Math Circus, Letter Factory, Talking Words Factory, Code Word Caper, and storybook Factory. Although advertised as compatible with ALL fridge phonics sets, I was dissapointed to open the expansion pack on my son's birthday and discover that the letters did not fit his fridge phonics word builder or magnetic alphabet set. A call to Leap Frog to try and resolve the problem was unsuccessful. The company does not seem to understand the meaning of the word ALL. They claim that the phonics products I have are new and the expansion pack is old therefore negating the compatibility. The packaging does not list any product age disclaimers. Luckily, Amazon accepted the return easily.

This is a great add to the Fridge Ponics. My son is two and knows all of his letters now, lower and upper. We have our snack times in front of the fridge and work on letters. I always make it fun, and if he doesn't feel like doing it, then I don't. I don't push it at all I figure there will be plenty of time when he has to sit there and learn. But, he loves to do it and actually plays with it a lot more than just at snack time. Great add to the upper case. I only wish they had numbers!
